FISHING REPORT – Nov. 12, 2011
In late October Hurricane RINA threatened for a short while but bypassed Belize and died out in the Yucatan well north of us. This season’s first but early cold front with cool 68 degree northerly winds influenced the hurricane but not the fishing. Winds sometimes up to 20 knots from the north and then from the west-south-west temporarily messed up some of our open flats but the leeside flats and river were fishable and productive. For most of October and the first week of November we had beautiful weather with several “glass calm” days. Some highlights follow . . .
