Then and Now – Evans Visit

We love to share a little “Then and Now” pictures and images. Jimmy Evans was one of the original guides trained by Victor Barothy Sr and who was still guiding when Mike and Marguerite took over the Lodge. Mr Jimmy lived “just down the river” on the bend and was known by many in our little town of Ladyville and aboard as an avid angler and guide.

This year, we had a quick visit from Victor Jr, Mr. Jimmy’s youngest son, and Vic Jr’s daugher Samantha. Vic Jr and family live in the USA and made a trip to Belize to show his daugher their “roots”. Manyhave met Samantha’s uncle Stevie or Aunt Margie at the airport who still live in the Ladyville.
