As we awaited the arrival of the three Wisemen following the star to the place where the baby Jesus was born bringing him gifts, we realize these were not ordinary gifts (gold, frankincense and myrrh) but actually all had specific uses throughout the life of Jesus.

As the countdown to January 6th began, it gave us time to reflect on all of our blessings in 2017 whether big or small. I personally give thanks and praise for my blessings of great children and grandchildren, fantastic nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters and wonderful friends who stood by me as I went through two big surgeries and by the Grace of God, survived. I thank each and every one for the love, prayers and strong support. While the arrival of the Wisemen to the baby Jesus happened long ago, as a family, we celebrate with feeling their peace and love to one and all. May the light of the star shine bright upon us and may we receive God’s many blessings.
